The Process

With any work of this nature, you ideally want to have an experienced project manager to oversee that everything is done in the correct order. We will take on that responsibility and organise all of the necessary tradespeople in the correct order and in as quick succession as possible.

We only use tradespeople we trust, most of whom we have built a strong business relationship with over many years.

Between kitchen, bedroom and office a kitchen installation is the biggest project, so to best explain the process this example is for a kitchen installation. The relevant steps will apply to a bedroom or office in the same order.

Design

A competent and experienced design consultant will visit your home from our local kitchen supplier. They will aim to find a perfect mix of aesthetically pleasing design and practicality.

A relaxed, free, no obligations quote.

Check Measure

When the final design has been approved by yourself, one of our installers will come back out to double check that the plan will fit and work as you want it to.

Kitchen Removal

One of our installation teams will come to your house and remove the old kitchen. A skip will be supplied, included in the cost of installation.

Your sink and cooking appliances will be left in place temporarily where possible to make your life a little easier.

Electrical and plumbing alterations

Our subcontracted electrician and plumber will make any amends necessary to the room to accommodate your new kitchen.

Plastering

Our long time trusted plasterer will come out to skim any rough surfaces ready for decorating. If your floor needs preparing for flooring, this is also when we will have a levelling compound laid.

Decorating

A few days after plastering we will arrange for a decorator to come out to apply a base coat to the walls and to paint and finish the ceiling.

Flooring

At this stage we will have the flooring laid to cover the entire room surface from wall to wall.

Delivery

The kitchen and appliances will be delivered pre assembled either in to your garage, a nearby room or the kitchen room.

Kitchen installation

One of our installation teams will come out to install your new kitchen with a main focus on having your sink and cooking appliances back up and running as soon as possible.

Work surfaces

If you have chosen a solid surface (ie. quartz, granite) we will leave your new hob and sink installed temporarily. The solid surface team will be round to template then take the plans back to their factory to manufacture your work surfaces. Within 10 days of the template being taken they will return to install your new worktops.

Finishing touches

The decorator will visit again to put the final coat of paint on your walls.

Thinking about tiling? After the worktops have been fitted we can arrange for a competent tiler to carry out your wall tiling.

We will be clean, tidy and considerate of the fact that we are working in your home. We will keep all dust and mess contained within the kitchen.

A kitchen is a big project with many different details and parts to be organised and ordered. If any issues arise while work is being undertaken we are never dismissive. We will take a positive, helpful attitude towards overcoming potential problems.
